Round-trip or one way ticket between London Stansted Airport and Liverpool Street Station in London with Stansted Express .-Travel time is 45 min.
The Tickets will be sent to your e-mail address.
If you make your booking on a Monday to Friday before 15:00, the tickets will be sent to your e-mail address the same day! If you make your booking later than 15:00, on a weekend or on a bank holiday, your tickets will be sent to you on the first workingday.
NB: Your train tickets will be sent to you on a separate e-mail.
The separate e-mail with your train tickets needs to be printed and you need to bring a copy with you to London. When you arrive in Stansted Airport you need to collect you train tickets before you board Stansted Express.
Please follow this instruction:
1) Find one of the ticket machines clearly labeled "STANSTED EXPRESS". You will find the ticket machines near the box office in the airport and at the platforms where the trains depart to London Liverpool Street Station.
2) On the ticket machine screen, press the button "Press to collect pre-booked tickets".
3) Insert any valid credit or debit card to activate the collection machine. The card will be quickly scanned and ejected and you can then remove the card. This process is for verification purposes only and no further payment will be taken. Use of the card that was used to make the purchase will speed the ticket issuing process but it is NOT imperative.
4) You will be asked to enter your reference number. NB! The reference number on the pdf. file - NOT Ticmate's bookingnumber!
5) All train tickets in this booking will be dispensed at the same time. Please ensure you collect all tickets from the machine.
6) You can then board the train, relax and enjoy the journey.
If you have bought one way tickets and have to use it from London to Stansted Airport, you will find the "Stansted Express" machines at Liverpool Street Station near platform 5 and 6.
NOTE : if you have booked a flight with Ryanair, you might have an opportunity to buy Stansted Express tickets at reduced prices directly from Ryanair. We are not able to answer questions or help you further if you choose to book Stansted Express tickets through Ryanair.
Choose ”Valid from” date, as the date where you like to use your train tickets. Have you booked a return ticket, the return journey needs to be used within 1 month from the "Valid from" date. Children younger than 5 years old travels for free if they travel together with an adult (max. 4 children each adult) Children between 5 and 15 years need to buy a valid children/youth ticket.
NB. We will send you only one e-ticket for each booking!
On bank holidays The Stansted Express will follow a reduced timetable, and the 25th Dec it is closed!
